() If you've noticed my pattern of more recent book reviews, you've noticed I've been reading a lot of memoirs. I really like the honesty of memoirs, especially ones that go into all the gruesome details, such as this one.
This woman will describe the deformations and disfigurements of her breasts without inhibition. She'll communicate all the crippling, mutilating effects of the cancer and chemotherapy that she has to endure. The author analyzes her behavior, her environment, and of course, her disease. It's a tale of bravado, humanity, and strife.
One of those stories that not many people can live to tell.
