Buried by Robin Merrow MacCready

() What do you do when your mom is the town drunk and her absence is your secret? Apparently you become dangerously OCD, drop your 4.0, and isolate your friends. At least that's the situation according to the main character in this book. It's not bad, just not realistic when coincided with the unexpected ending.
Basically, the main character, Claudine, wakes up in her family's trailer to a giant mess. This is common for Claudine, cleaning up after her mother's party night before an unplanned trip. Only there is an unmentioned, mysterious solemness to this time. Her mother has fled again, but to anyone who asks Claudine says what she wishes: that her mom has gone to rehab. Claudine starts becoming troubled and takes it out on cleaning, post-its, organization, counting, and order. Her grades drop and so do her friendships. Eventually, during the night of a terrible storm, the truth is revealed and Claudine can finally move on. It's a different, quick read. Okay.
